JC Lyle joined Wesley in 2024 to open our Wilmington, NC location. Prior to joining us, she led a home repair nonprofit in Southeastern NC for 15 years, increasing the organization’s capacity by over 500%. Her professional background also includes commercial and residential land planning as well as property management.

Volunteer leadership positions have included Chair of the Planning Commission for the City of Wilmington, Chair of the Finance Ministry Team at Wrightsville UMC, and member of the NC Housing Partnership (the board that oversees the NC Housing Trust Fund).

Originally from Virginia, JC has lived in Wilmington since 1996. Her community involvement has earned her multiple honors including Wilmington Rotary Club’s inaugural Leaders in Service Award, YWCA’s Woman of Achievement Award, and Wilmington Biz 100 Leaders.

JC earned her BA at Mary Washington College and her MBA at UNC Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business where she was recently recognized with an Outstanding Alumni Award.

JC spends most of her free time with her husband, Jared, relaxing at local beaches and nature preserves, enjoying time with family and friends, and volunteering at their church.
